Lillian receives Defence Medal for services in WWII

On 4^th September 2010 – one day before her 90^th birthday - in the Council Chamber of Milford Haven Town Hall, the Mayor of Milford Haven – Councillor Eric Harries – presented Mrs Lillian Beatrice Evans of Vicary Crescent, Milford Haven, a DEFENCE MEDAL awarded by the Civil Contingencies Secretariat at the Cabinet Office, Whitehall in recognition of her service with the Civil Nursing Reserve during WWII.
